Role: UX/UI Designer
Project Type: Personal Case Study
Platform: iOS Mobile App
Overview
Edgerunner is a fictional iOS fitness app I designed to give users a powerful, no-BS tool to track workouts and calories. Built for serious athletes and everyday lifters alike, the app blends functionality with a gritty, motivating aesthetic that matches the Edgerunner brand identity.
Goals
Let users track their workouts with custom routines, sets, reps, and rest timers
Allow easy calorie tracking with a simple interface and searchable food database
Keep the experience clean, fast, and motivating no fluff, no distractions
UX Approach
The design is focused on speed and clarity. I prioritized:
Minimal taps to log workouts and meals
High contrast UI for better focus in gym environments
A dashboard that shows daily progress at a glance
Motivational visuals and copy to keep users engaged

UI & Visual Design
Inspired by Edgerunner’s brand — bold, dark, and energetic — the interface uses strong typography, red accent colors, and sharp iconography. It’s optimized for usability in fast-paced settings like the gym, with tactile buttons and swipe actions.
Outcome
This case study showcases my ability to take a fitness app from concept to high-fidelity prototype. It includes user flows, wireframes, and final screen designs, all created with a strong brand alignment in mind.
